Simply type what you want to change in the chat, just like you're talking to a designer:

"Make the header background dark blue instead of white"

"Remove the testimonials section"

Writing Effective Change Requests

Be Specific

Reference Existing Elements

Explain Why (Optional but Helpful)

The AI can make better decisions when it understands your goals:

"Make the pricing cards larger because customers are having trouble reading the features list"

Use Comparisons

"Make the footer similar to how Apple's website footer looks"
"Use a layout like the one I showed in the reference image earlier"

Multiple Changes at Once

You can request several changes in one message:

"Please make these changes:
1. Change the header background to dark gray
2. Make the logo larger
3. Add a phone number next to the contact button
4. Remove the social media icons from the header"

Iterative Refinement

Don't worry about getting everything perfect in one request. You can refine progressively:

  1. First request: "Add a testimonials section"
  2. Refinement: "Make the testimonials show as cards instead of a list"
  3. Further refinement: "Add star ratings to each testimonial card"
  4. Final touch: "Change the background color of the testimonials section to light gray"

Undoing Changes

Made a change you don't like? You have options:

Ask to Revert

"Undo the last change" or "Go back to how the header looked before"

Use Version History

Click the History button to see previous versions of your project and restore any earlier state. See Version History for details.

Tips for Requesting Changes

Take Your Time

There's no rush. Review the preview carefully before requesting changes.

One Thing at a Time

For complex changes, it's often better to make one change, review it, then make the next.

Be Patient with Large Changes

Big structural changes take longer than small tweaks. The AI will show you progress as it works.

Use the Edit Tool for Quick Edits

For simple text or image changes, the Edit Tool is often faster than typing a request.

What If the Change Isn't Right?

If the AI misunderstands your request:

  1. Clarify: Explain what's wrong and what you actually wanted
  2. Be more specific: Add details that might have been missing
  3. Show an example: Attach a reference image
  4. Try different wording: Rephrase your request

You: "Make the buttons bigger" AI makes buttons wider

You: "I meant taller, not wider. Please increase the button height and padding while keeping the width the same"
